Yet another amazing Xmas parade

PIOPIO, you’ve done it again!

A huge shoutout to everyone who put in the time and effort to create incredible floats. Congratulations to the Pari whanau for winning the Piopio Christmas Parade Float shield.

Special thanks to Vinny and his team at specialized TM, Tony Schrafft, judges John Darke and Rakesh Govind, the Lions caravan, Piopio Trust, and the local Piopio businesses for helping to organise the parade.

We also want to give a big congratulations to the overall winners of the Christmas lights/theme competition. Zoe Simpson, you absolutely rocked the mailbox theme, and Hairloom Hair Salon, you nailed the business theme. And a round of applause to Caitlyn Cody, the overall winner of the home theme. And let’s not forget Emma Thompson, the lucky winner of the raffle! There were some amazing ideas and tough competition this year!

I can’t wait to see what creative ideas come up for next year’s parade. Let’s keep those thinking caps on!
